- 1 cup sabudana/sago
- 4 boiled potatoes
- 1/2 cup roasted peanut powder
- 4-5 finely chopped green chilli
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- 2 tbs lemon juice
- 1 tsp rock salt
- As required Oil for frying
Instructions to make to make Sabudana Vada
- Soak the sabudana for 5 to 6 hours or overnight.
- Peel the boiled potatoes and smash well.
- Mix soaked sabudana, smashed potatoes and roasted groundnut powder in a large mixing bowl.
- Add finely chopped green chilli, lemon juice, sugar,salt and cumin seeds. Mix well.
- Now take small portion (medium size ball)of the mixture and make the flat round vada.
- Heat the oil in a kadhai or pan on medium flame.
- Fry the vada in the hot oil till golden brown from both sides.
- Serve hot with curd or chutney.
