- 1 cup Rice
- 1 tbsp Moong Dhal
- 1 tsp Fenugreek Seeds
- 1 Carrot (diced)
- 4 Beans (diced)
- 1/2 cup Green Peas (boiled)
- 1 Onion (chopped)
- 5 Glove Garlic (diced)
- 1 Tomato (chopped)
- 1 Chilli (chopped)
- As per taste Salt
- as required Oil
- 1 cup Coconut Milk
- 1 tbsp Fennel Powder
- 1 Cup Coriander,Mint Leaves (chopped)
- 3 Pepper Corns
- Small Piece Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
Instructions to make to make Vegetables Kanji (porridge)
- Soak dal and Fenugreek, wash the rice keep aside
- Heat the pressure cooker,add the whole garam masala after few mins add the onions,then garlic, then veg fry for few mins
- Add the mint leaves, the turmeric powder,fennel and give it a good fry then add dal and rice
- After few mins add water and salt,close the pressure cooker and let 5 whistle then off the heat and after cool down.
- Open and add the coconut milk and let it boil,adjust the water and salt and serve hot,tasty kanji ready.
