- Meanwhile prepare the stuffing. Heat oil in a pan. Add the chopped onion and saute till transparent. Add all the masalas and roast for a few minutes. Add the boiled and mashed potatoes, peas, Walt and mix well. Cook for a few minutes. Switch off flame and let the stuffing cool. Once cool shape into tikkis and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan. Pour a ladle full of batter. Let it cook on one side and then flip it over. Once the backside is golden place the aloo tikki in the centre.
