- 3/4 cup Sabudanna (sago)
- 3-4 medium boiled potatoes
- to taste Salt
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp jeera powder
- 2 bread slices bread crumbs(optional)
- As needed Oil for frying
Instructions to make to make Sabudanna vada
- Wash and Soak Sabudanna in little water for 3-4 hrs. It will swell. Spread it out on plate to dry for some time. Mix little salt to it.
- Roughly mashed potatoes,add all the spices to it mix well.Add the sabudanna and form into a dough.If it is not binding then add bread crumbs. Make balls, flatten them.
- Heat oil in a kadahi. Fry the Sabudanna vadas in hot oil till brown and well cooked. Keep the flame medium to high.
- Serve with green chutney and Sweet dahi peanut chutney.And kokam sharbat.
- For Sweet dahi peanut chutney...take handful peanuts, coarasely grind in a blender add 1/4 cup dahi 1/4 tsp sugar pinch of salt and blend for few seconds.,and it is done.
